Kyle Dodson (Director- You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown): Kyle Dodson graduated from California State University, Fresno in 2010 with a degree in English Education, including an emphasis in theatre. He then completed the credential program in 2010, with a credential to teach English and Drama at the secondary level. At CSU Fresno, he directed several student productions, including “Murder in the House of Horrors”, “An Edgar Allan Poe Affair”, and “The State of Being” through the Experimental Theatre Company. He performed in many CSU Fresno productions including “Time Again in Oz” (Captain), “Measure for Measure” (Elbow), and “Urinetown” (Robby the Stockfish). He has also been prevalent in community theatre, performing in Centerstage productions such as “Beauty and the Beast” (Le Fou), “The Music Man” (Tommy Djilas), and “Of Mice and Men” (Curley).
Shannah Estep (Vocal Coach: Disney's Sleeping Beauty: Kids!) When Shannah isn’t vocal coaching for CMT, she works as a mathematics consultant for the Fresno County Office of Education. You may have seen her on stage as the Baker’s Wife in Into the Woods at Fresno State, Josephine in HMS Pinafore at Second Space and as Miss Hannigan in Annie here at CMT. Shannah served as the vocal coach for CMT's 2011 production of Cinderella: Kids! and will be appearing in CMT's production of Yo, Vikings! early this year. In addition to her three beautiful children, Shannah raises calico alpaca on her small north Fresno estate with her doting husband Eric.
Elizabeth Fiester (Director- Irving Berlin's White Christmas) Elizabeth Fiester is currently the Drama Teacher at Clovis West High School and recently directed Rumors, The Wedding Singer, and Hay Fever with her students. Fiester has directed extensively with Good Company Players and recently directed Legally Blonde and The Wedding Singer at the Music Hall. Fiester is also appearing in Crimes of the Heart at the 2nd Space Theatre early in the 2012 season. Fiester's previous CMT directing credits include Sweeney Todd. CMT is very excited to welcome Elizabeth back to the Mainstage Season!
Skyler Gray (Artistic Director/ Director: Yo, Vikings! and The Underground @ CMT's Spring Awakening) Skyler Gray is a CMT veteran and Clovis West High School alum. He graduated with Honors in Directing and Honors in Stage Management from the University of California, Irvine with a minor in Education. He is currently the Literary Assistant for The Tony Award-Winning South Coast Repertory Theatre and is the Festival Assistant for the Pacific Playwright Festival of New Works. He was Assistant Director to Obie Award-Winning Director Sam Gold on SCR’s Circle Mirror Transformation. At SCR he has worked on the premiere readings of Kenneth Lin’s Warrior Class, Sharr White’s Annapurna, David West Read’s Happy Face and J.C. Lee’s Pookie Goes Grenading. At CMT Gray has directed Les Miserables, Cinderella: Kids, High School Musical 2 and 13 the musical. Directing Credits at UCI include: A New Brain the musical (Honor’s Thesis), Spring’s Awakening, MUD, Switched!, Switched!: Again, and Shoe Fanatics. Acting Credits at UCI: Ubu Roi, Mercury Fur, Loving Lives and Once Upon a Mattress. Acting Credits at CMT: Sweeney Todd (Tobias), The Who’s Tommy (Cousin Kevin), and Into the Woods (Jack). He is one of the Founding Artistic Directors of the SineQuanon Theater Project, an ensemble based Theater Company in Southern California. Gray is currently the Artistic Director of Children’s Musical Theaterworks and The Underground @ CMT in Fresno, California.
Jessica Hambright (Choreographer- The Underground @ CMT's Spring Awakening) Jessica Hambright started dancing with Santa Barbara Dance Arts when she was 8 years old. Fourteen years later she is a full time teacher after getting her B.F.A. in Choreography from the University of California, Irvine’s Claire Trevor School of the Arts. Now specializing in Broadway and Jazz styles, Jessica has choreographed 8 full length musicals (including 42nd Street, Oliver!, High School Musical, and Seussical) and assisted on 5 more, a 45-minutes original thesis, and has had her work seen by some of the academic dance world’s most respected choreographers. Jessica has also performed a featured role in an original 15-minute musical off-Broadway in New York City, and has trained with some of the most up-and-coming choreographers in the business (including Smash’s Josh Bergasse). She teaches jazz, Broadway, and lyrical styles at SBDA and at several schools in Santa Barbara. Jessica is also the choreographer for Out of the Box Theater Company and Big Stage Productions.
Terry Lewis (Vocal Coach- The Underground @ CMT's Spring Awakening) Terry is a well-known performer, accompanist, vocal coach and director, having worked with nearly every major performing group in the Fresno/Clovis area. He has vocal coached such shows as Sweeeney Todd, Evita, Glory Days, The Last Five Years, Cats, The Music Man, My Fair Lady, Kiss Me, Kate, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Annie, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Blood Brothers, and many others. He has accompanied many performing groups and individuals over the years, including stars of the Broadway stage as well as opera singers from The Metropolitan Opera and all over the country. As a performer, he has been seen in such roles as The Phantom in The Phantom of the Opera, Austin in I Love You, Because, Billy Bigelow in Carousel, Chris in Miss Saigon, Sky Masterson in Guys & Dolls, Archibald Craven in The Secret Garden, J. Pierrepont Finch in How to Succeed…, Joe Hardy in Damn Yankees, Frederic in The Pirates of Penzance, and Max in Lend Me a Tenor.
Josh Montgomery (Choreographer- Yo, Vikings!) Credits include: International/National Tours; Disney Live! Three Classic Fairytales produced by Feld Entertainment-(Asia Tour), Theater Under the Stars- Huston TX, West Side Story (Baby John), Theater of The Stars- Atlanta GA, Broadways 50th Anniversary Tour of West Side Story (Baby John), Los Angeles regional tour of A Chorus Line (Mark), “Hot In Hollywood” national AIDS benefit. Josh has also worked for Universal Studios Hollywood (New York, New York!) and Disney Entertainment. Here in the Fresno valley Josh has Choreographed for Good Company Players The Wedding Singer along with their “JR Company” also performing in numerous shows with GCP. Josh directed CMT's acclaimed production of Disney's The Little Mermaid Jr. last year. Josh is also a proud member of AEA & AGVA. Thanks to Skyler Gray and Judy Stene.
Brent Moser (Director- Jekyll & Hyde) Brent is making his CMT debut and is looking forward to be working with such a talented production staff. Brent is currently the Visual and Performing Arts Coordinator for Clovis Unified School District . He is proud to have been the founding director of Buchanan High School 's "Bear Stage" theater program during his teaching career. He has served as the Artistic Director for CenterStage Clovis Community Theatre. Previous directing credits include: Beauty and the Beast, Guys and Dolls, Evita, Bye, Bye Birdie, The Taming of the Shrew, Grease!, among others. Brent has been seen on the stages of many theater companies around the Valley, including; Roger Rocka's Music Hall Good Company Players' Second Space, Fresno Opera, CSU Fresno, Fresno City College and Courtyard Shakespeare Festival. Past on-stage credits include: The Music Man (Harold Hill), Noises Off (Lloyd), Handler (Geordi), The Philadelphia Story (Mike), I Hate Hamlet (Andrew Rally), Into the Woods (Prince), Anything Goes (Billy Crocker), Pump Boys and Dinettes (L.M.) and Hello, Dolly! (Cornelius Hackl) among others. He would like to thank his wife, Danette and his children, Bryce and Hannah for their constant love and support.
Jenny Myers (Director- Disney's Sleeping Beauty: Kids!) Jennifer Myers received her bachelors degree in classical vocal performance and a minor in literature from the Cornish Conservatory of music in Seattle Washington. Jennifer has performed extensively throughout the Pacific Northwest in Opera, Oratorio, Operetta, and Musical Theater. While in Seattle she completed an internship with The Seattle Opera Company and took part in their young artist program where she was given the opportunity to perform main stage. During her stay in Seattle she was invited to join the cast of Les Miserables playing the role of Cosette with the national Broadway across America tour. Ms. Myers has also toured with several other musical theater productions. Jennifer has been seen in the Bear Valley music festival, with The Portland opera, Bainbridge opera, Opera Fresno, The California Opera Association, The Sierra Chamber opera and with many other companies. Her most recent roles include Lucy in Menotti’s The Telephone, Mimi in Puccini's La Boheme, Jennie Parsons in Kurt Weils Down in The Valley, and as Gretel in Humperdink's Hansel and Gretel. Jennifer's upcoming engagements include the debuts of three commissioned works entitled: Freddie the Mathematician, Killbear comes home, and The Scarlet Letter. She will also be playing the roles of Susanna in The Marriage of Figaro, Musetta in La Boheme, and Flora in La Traviata. Through out the summer Ms. Myers will also be giving a series of recitals highlighting and debuting up and coming composer's works.
Rebecca Sarkisian (Vocal Coach- Irving Berlin's White Christmas) Rebecca is no stranger to CMT, having previously Vocal Coached for the acclaimed 2004 production of “Les Miserable” as well as “Seussical,” “Beauty and the Beast,” and “High School Musical.” A seasoned performer of opera, musical theater, and recital, Rebecca has worked with such organizations as the Music From Bear Valley Festival, Opera Fresno, The Sierra Chamber Opera, Good Company Players and Center Stage Productions. Rebecca is a long time member of the Fresno City College music faculty. In addition, she teaches singing in her own voice studio.
