Kyra Smith
Extended Day Director | Stage Manager
Kyra is so excited to be starting her third summer at CMT! She has previously worked on Legally Blonde (Assistant Stage Manager), Beauty and the Beast Jr (Stage Manager), Freaky Friday (Stage Manager), Little Mermaid Jr (Crew Manager), and Frozen Jr (Stage Manager) with CMT. She also just finished stage managing The Humans at Fresno City College in March. Kyra will be attending Fresno City College in the fall to finish her Associates Degree in Theatre Arts after which she will be transferring. Outside of CMT she has been a performer in musicals, operas and plays for ten years. Kyra is thrilled to be the director in CMT’s Extended Day as well the Assistant Director for Les Miserables School Edition and the Director for Aladdin Jr.
Diego Sosa - Assistant Stage Manager
Diego has been involved in many CMT productions. His first show being Cinderella Kids and other productions include The Little Mermaid Jr (Assistant Stage Manager), James and the Giant Peach (Assistant Stage Manager), Beauty and the Beast Jr (Prince/Beast), and Once On This Island (Ensemble). He has also been involved in shows at Good Company Players such as Something Rotten (Ensemble), Elf the Musical (Michael), Man of La Mancha (Backstage Crew), and Disney’s Newsies (Crutchie). Diego was also on staff for CMT’s 2019 Extended Day program. He is currently a junior at Roosevelt School of the Arts where he also performed in their production of Shrek the Musical (Pig #3/U/S Lord Farquad). Diego is very excited to be back working with the kids and CMT this summer.
Katie Hale - Extended Day Teacher
Erin has been a part of CMT for 8 years. Over the years, she has performed in 7 CMT shows, worked backstage and assisted with the extended day program. Erin is looking forward to working with this summer’s production of Beauty and the Beast Jr., as the Assistant Stage Manager. Erin loves working with children and is excited to be a part of the extended day program again this year. In the fall, Erin will be a sophomore at Clovis East High School and plans on pursuing a career in nursing.
Maddie Padilla - Graphics
Maddie Padilla has been with CMT for several years and has worked in numerous positions, including Extended Day Supervisor, props, stage management and more! She has extensive experience with art and graphic design, and while she has moved out of the area, she continued to provide CMT with creative and inspiring graphic design. You can find Maddie’s work on CMT’s posters, bookmarks, flyers, and on the beautiful storefront of the CMT rehearsal space at the Sierra Vista Mall.
Jennifer Ruiz - Costume Manager
Jennifer Ruiz studied costume design at Cal State Fullerton and has worked throughout Southern California in all aspects of costuming for the past 5 years before returning to Fresno. If she hasn’t been the costume designer she has built the costumes.
Jacob Cozzi - Extended Day Assistant Director | Stage Manager | Music Director
Jacob is looking forward to starting his second season with CMT after having an amazing time last year! Whether it was acting, stage managing, or teaching, 2019 was a blast. He has recently been hired as CMT’s music director, and plans to work closely with each of 2020’s three musicals as well as with Extended Day. Jacob has spent the past four years working with several theatre companies in Fresno and Clovis, and has nearly 30 productions under his belt. He has also just finished his freshman year at Fresno Pacific University, where he is majoring in history in minoring in theatre. Jacob is very excited to continue bringing everything he has to offer to help kids learn and grow as actors!
Julie Lucido - Teen Workshop Acting Coach
Julie Lucido is a theatre arts veteran with decades of experience in performance, choreography, and directing. Gifted as both mentor and collaborator, Julie is at home in both leadership roles as well as contributing as a key member of a full production team. With expertise and a vast background in stage performance, Julie is also well-versed in television, radio, and digital mediums. Julie has a Theatre Arts B.A. from University of Santa Cruz. Julie is classically trained in a variety of theatrical techniques including Meisner and Stanislavsky and focuses on growing actors fully engaging with their mind, body, and soul.
Catriona Fray - Teen Workshop Director
CATRIONA FRAY, Graduate of UCLA’s School of Theater, Film, and Television, has traveled across the country opening for Grammy award winning Pentatonix, singing with recording artist Jojo in a national commercial for Freeform, and singing with UCLA a cappella group ScatterTones at the White House. She performed in Mamma Mia at the Hollywood Bowl and Sweet Charity (Rosie) with three-time Tony award winning director Kathleen Marshall. Her favorite roles, (Witch) Into the Woods and (Audrey) Little Shop of Horrors. In NYC, she has performed at the Town Hall, Feinstein’s/54 Below, (Le) Poisson Rouge, and has worked alongside Broadway producers/creatives on new works. Joshua Bravo - Vocal Director
Joshua Bravo is a music student at Fresno City College. He has been involved in many CMT productions and is excited to get to work with the students on their music. With a total of 10 years actively pursuing music, Joshua has been in several choral groups. Touring as far as Europe, and representing California in an All-National Choral ensemble (NAfME). He is a member of an alternative band, The National Debt, with a U.S. tour planned for summer 2019.

Emily Estep - Extended Day Vocal Coach
CMT alum Emily Estep has performed in numerous productions around Fresno and other venues around the country. She recently performed as the featured soloist with the Lima Symphony Orchestra, and with 5 time Grammy Award Nominee, Michael Feinstein at Feinstein’s @ the Nikko in San Francisco. Some of her favorite roles include Wendla in Spring Awakening, Sophie in Mamma Mia!, and Little Becky Two-Shoes/Mrs. Millennium in Urinetown. Emily will return to Ohio Northern University in the fall as a Senior Musical Theatre major. After choreographing and vocal coaching Beauty and the Beast Jr. in 2018, she is excited to be back with CMT for another summer!
Sofia James - Assistant Stage Manager
Sofia James has participated in CMT, both on and off stage, for nearly three years. She first discovered her love for musical theatre at CMT in the production, High School Musical, and continued to do theatre at CMT and at her high school. Sofia would like you to strongly consider supporting CMT, whether it be participating in shows, volunteering, or even seeing one of the shows, because CMT is a program like no other that shapes people into the best version of themselves! Currently, she is apart of the Assistant Stage Management team for Little Mermaid Jr. and she cannot wait for everyone to come and see this amazing show!
Ian McFarland
Ian has been a part of numerous CMT shows since the age of 10, with one of his all time favorites being “The Hunchback of Notre Dame.” Recently he has enjoyed being involved as CMT backstage crew. This upcoming school year he will be a Senior where he will continue to be a part of the Central High School Band Program as a percussionist. He has grown up on the CMT stage and is looking forward to making more memories and friendships this summer.
Megan Gaertig
Megan has been in multiple productions with CMT with her latest being "Anna" in Frozen Jr. She also enjoys participating in Good Company Players Jr. company over at Roger Rocka's. When Megan is not on stage she enjoys running spotlights and playing with her dogs. She's exited to be a part of the CMT summer program and looks forward to sharing her love of the theater!
Joshua Hudson
Joshua has been with CMT since the show Legally Blonde as Aaron Shultz. He was also Buddy in the show Elf jr. After, he continued to work for CMT as a crew member for The Little Mermaid jr. Josh is REALLY excited to work with the kids again and to create a positive and uplifting work space and is very happy to be back with his friends that he worked with on previous shows!
